Climate Action Network International (CAN) is a worldwide network of over 1,100 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in more than 120 countries, working to promote government and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels. CAN plays a critical role in providing organizing capacity for global climate action, offering the only venue where climate advocates from across a broad range of sectors can coordinate strategies. FSM provided CAN a grant to support the planning of a post-Paris international climate strategy session that took place in Berlin in February 2016. Additional funding to CAN supports its regional chapters by providing technical, financial, and strategic support to strengthen their national campaigns for a 100 percent renewal energy future.
