Franciscan Sisters of Mary Bid Farewell to St. Mary of the Angels Convent
It was a weekend of laughter and tears, of sharing stories and memories both touching and hilarious. On May 14–16, 2010, the Franciscan Sisters of Mary gathered as a community to say good-bye to their Richmond Heights motherhouse of more than eighty years, just before the first sisters left for their new home at The Sarah Community in Bridgeton. The weekend included great food, times for reflection, and a public farewell celebration, as well as a special concert by treasured musician friends and a Mass of farewell.
