Don't Leave Me on the Window
Words are spoken to my heart
Pleading, loving,
Don't leave me on the window
Or even on the cross.
You will find me all around you
In lives and hearts that are broken
and in those who live in plenty.
I am with you as you go
to meet each moment and each person.
They are my gift to you.
Value them as I do, too.
I gave My life for them, for you.
Now give your life to Me.
I hold you with infinite care,
And will strengthen you.
Together we will feed My people
who are starving,
not only for food to strengthen their bodies
but starving also for peace and justice.
Their spirits must be fed.
Meet me in your heart as I meet you in Mine.
Together we will seize each moment.
Together we will be and share
unbounded love there.
