Travel Light!
April 16, 2010
Watch a butterfly in flight—so light, it almost floats on a summer’s breeze.
We may never be able to move through life as lightly as a butterfly, but we can find ways to lighten our load.
One way to travel lighter is to simplify. Are we still hanging on to stuff that no longer works for us? Clothes that don’t fit or that we never wear? Furniture, books, household items, jewelry, and knickknacks we no longer use but that clutter our homes and storage spaces?
One person’s trash is another’s treasure. This spring, do some real cleaning and get rid of all the “stuff” you no longer need or use. Donate what you can to people who do need it, and recycle the rest. You’ll be amazed at how much freer you feel!
