During these days of excitement and anticipation, it's especially comforting to embrace the joyful hope that "all is calm, all is bright" and that there is "peace on earth."
But while these heartfelt holiday expressions resonate through the words of carols and voices of choirs, sadly all is not calm and bright throughout the world. Many people do not realize peace in their lives; many do not feel accepted or respected.
The Franciscan Sisters of Mary join and support those who work for peace and justice. Your prayers and your gifts to the FSM and other worthy causes will help realize a world where justice has welcomed...peace.
