Time flies; but remember you're the navigator!
May 08, 2007
As we move through the Easter season, we see in the Scripture readings how Jesus' disciples became stronger in their faith and in themselves. Jesus remained the source of their inspiration and revealed himself to them as a reminder of his continual care and guidance.
It's no different for us today. As we rely on the promise that Jesus is always with us, we gain confidence in that knowledge. There may be difficulties or tragic situations where we question this and that is the time when we need to claim Jesus' presence with us - no matter what.
As we journey this day, let's remember the wonderful blessings that await us when we rely on Jesus and how our renewed strength allows us to encourage our sisters and brothers along the way. We especially ask Jesus to be near to those who feel alone in suffering violence or injustice of any kind.
